A weird title, not grammatically correct, but this week has been pretty strange so far. Wednesday we learned more about hypnosis, It was one of the most stupid things ever. It was a Mexican professor, and he didn’t exactly tell us what we were going to do, then he just handed out som papers, it was some kind of “hypnosis material”, Harvard something.. Then he just says if you don’t want to continue just raise your arm and you can go out of the room. Then he starts talking , and when I say that I mean he started to hypnotize us. I really felt I didn’t want to be a part of that so I just listened and pretended. He said things like close your eyes, now your eye lids are so heavy that you can’t open your eyes, now you can hear a fly (there were no flies) etc. Then after like 30 minutes he said, if anyone isn’t awake yet, please tell me.. so stupid, then he wanted us to write about para psychological experiences that we had had. We wrote one together in our group, but today he e-mailed one of the guys in my group and said we had hand in one paper each. So stupid! I don’t feel like doing that!
Anyway. Today I cleaned my room. This is a picture of what it looked like. A total disaster! I like that. Absolutely untidy.
Then I went outside and had a cup of coffe at the front porch. One of the dogs that lives here joined me. His name is Hip, and I think he’s pretty cute. The owner uses the dogs he has for hunting, and I think this is some kind of Irish bird dog. The dogs have a kind of collar and when they go outside the fence, they get an electrical shock (small) so they run around in the garden all day.

I had a lot of post it notes on my desk, and then I came up with the idea to make a post it tree. I used thin metal wire. Not the best thing I have made, haha! but it works, because I can see what I have written on the notes, and they aren’t everywhere on my desk. The picture is very light, but I think you can see.

Yesterday when I had lunch, at home, I saw something on the floor, and then I realized it was a snake. We live on the second floor, so at first I thought it was very strange. I started screaming haha! and then one of the girls, who also lives here, came home and she is so afraid of snakes. I put it in a cardboard box and then I called the landlord. He was in Nice, France, so I put the box outside. I recognized the snake, because it was his son Folke’s snake, that he had found on his way back home from school (the snake is called snok, and they are wild), then he had put it in his room in som kind of cage, but obviously it didn’t want to stay there. Later we saw that the dogs had played with the box, so either is the snake dead or ”free” ha ha! I just felt sorry for that boy.
The Spanish course started yesterday and I think it’s going to be fun. I’ll write more about the people there later.
I have had problem with my Visa card because money had disappeared, so I had to block it. Then there was a lot of trouble because the bank I had (until today) is 3 hour from here, and no one could help me. Today I went to the local bank, signed some papers, and on the 1st of October I’ll have a new card, new bank accounts and a bank to go to.
Tomorrow we have a test, but I haven’t rehearsed much because I just feel tired. I don’t know if I know everything we have to know, but I don’t have the energy to focus more on this right now. The test starts at 8AM so I have to take the bus as early as 7:05! And then try to find the right building, because I have no idea where it is. Tomorrow evening there’s a party. I don’t really like parties, but I feel like I have to go. The girl who lives next door is coming with me because I don’t want to go there alone. It’s the first time she’s going to a Swedish “party” . Normally, you first have a pre-party, then the real party or you go to a club, then there’s always an after-party. I definitely don’t like dancing.
