Today a man called me back about the tutoring job and I’m going there tomorrow on an interview. I guess I have a chance. It’s a company called My Academy, and through them parents can find people who can help their children with their homework.
I think that children learn when they think things are fun. Many people don’t like to study because they just don’t feel like it, everything else is better, I guess that is the feeling they have in their bodies. It’s like when you have had a party, and then you have to clean, who wants to do that.. haha! The only way through which you can change how you feel is through how you think. If you change your thought pattern, you can also to some extents change your feelings.. Another thing that I think is important is to take things on the right level. It’s better to start low and go up to a higher lever fast, than to start on a high level and then have to go down. I think it’s sad that so many parents expect so much from their children.
Tomorrow is also Spanish course. The teacher called us 3 weeks ago and said she was going on vacation. Ehh! meant no lessons for 2 weeks. This also means we have to go 2 weeks longer, which I don’t have time for, but I can’t get my money back. But it wasn’t that expensive, but anyway. I mean she could have told us in advance. I’m soo excited for the course that starts next week, it’s going to be fun to meet new people and I really hope it’s going to be interesting. Sometimes I’m so freaking afraid of the teachers haha! And I have had this woman as a teacher before, and gosh!!! she scares me haha! It’s not that it’s something she does, it’s rather that she doesn’t do anything that scares me. She doesn’t say anything and then, blah! comes everything.. haha!
These are some pictures, first one of the flowers I bought on my birthday, a picture I took today on my way to the library (just 2 minutes from my apartment), and some things I bought for my sister for Christmas (some kind of not very ordinary tea (bed time tea and pomegranate tea), those kind of sugar things, a whatever you call it that you can put bread or cookies in, and scented candles. They already have cups, so I won’t buy that. She really like tea, so I kind of made like a themed present. I’ll also buy a pair of ear rings for her, since this stuff is for her boyfriend too. I bought that paper too, I really like the color and the pattern..
