I think this (Romantic Anonymous) must be (together with melancholia) my favorite movie this year, so far. The movie is French, which I like. It’s something with the fact that I don’t understand what they day that I like.. and French movies they’re always strange in some way, which I also like.

This movie is about Angélique who is a “chocolatier” – the best of them all, but she is also a highly emotional person. Her personality trait is something she shares with her new employer, but they don’t know that – either of them. Everything develops into a pretty humorous and awkward story – which is both loving and entertaining. I can recommend this movie too :)

It’s nothing special with this cd-cover, but somehow I like it. There’s a song from this album that’s called You and I, that song is just weird in a funny ugly beautiful way.

Check out these kids. I’m not saying anything, but it’s proabably one of the most.. I don’t know.. things I have ever seen.

I think this one of the most odd beautiful songs I’ve heard.. I like: I wish I had a river I could skate away on..I wish I had a river so long, I could..

Two Movies I watchewd today; Greenberg, and 9

Let’s start with the best of the two movies, 9. I thought it was a children’s movie, but I was wrong. I can’t say I loved it, but it was good. I think it shows pretty clearly how working in teams works, or maybe I should say how groups work. The main character is a “doll” named 9. He wakes up after being given “life” – a part of his creator’s soul. He wanders outside and finds a guy like him. Then he meets some more, called 5, 6 etc. There was a war, but now there’s only one “beast” left in the town. The leader of the group decides they have to stay on the safe side, but 9 wants to challenge him and goes to fight the creature who has frightened the town to silence.

Movie two was Greenberg. This must be the worst movie I’ve ever seen! What’s the point with this movie. It had gotten 4/5 starts, A:s etc in many magazines. WHY? Ok, I might be sensitive, but how can a movie which has a sex scene every fifth minute in it be G-rated?? It felt like I wanted to throw up, maybe because of lines like: “Ah, my bra is so ugly, it’s more like a tube thing.” I didn’t watch the last 20 minutes, and accidentally missed the end. Fortunately it felt like I didn’t miss anything. The commercial in the beginning was the best part. Ben Stiller is good, but the rest was just crap.

I looked trough some boxes with photos, it’s both fun and scary to see all the changes, haha! My sister and I are so different. I also found an old pair of eyeglasses, they were killing expensive. The funny thing is that I tried them on, and they looked really good, so I honestly think I’ll but new glass. I bought them when I was like 19, they have no “frames” but the things you have behind your ears.. so hard to explain.. are silvery.. I’ll show you a picture later.. Hope you all are having a great time! :)

I know it’s Christmas haha! But we made “Thai food”. It was fun because that is something we usually not do. It doesn’t look very good but it’s soup with chicken, it should look like this. There was lemon grass, onion, rice noodles and sabal oelek and something more in it..

A couple of hours ago I put the ham in the oven. I guess it’ll be done in the middle of the night haha! My parents are at my grandma’s house because it’s so cold that the water had frozen in her house. Not very funny! I hope it’s possible to fix.

And if anyone of you want to know it’s possible to bake “lussekatter” – buns in the microwave.. haha! I was surprised, but it works, and it tastes just like it usually does.. there are not baked yet. I’m still looking for that kind of small “table oven” but haven’t found one yet.

Just because I guess no one wants to know haha! I’m posting what I ate today, lol! I made a smoothie for breakfast, that’s my new favorite. Mix ½ banana, add raspberries, milk, and yogurt, voila! I use milk with 0,1 % fat because that makes the smoothie fluffier..

For dinner I had this lasagna, and I’m posting this picture because I think this was the firs time in one year I made something pre-made to put in the microwave. So what did I choose? Vegetarian lasagna from Weight Watchers, haha! Everything else contains so much fat that it’s impossible to eat it – most of the frozen stuff is deep-fried, which I don’t like.. It was lentils and bell pepper and corn and stuff in it, and actually to my surprise it  tasted good. Isn’t that strange, haha!

Then I got my laptop fixed, Yippieeee!!! I found a service partner on asus homepage, it took me one hour to get there because of all the snow, then when I wanted to go to the city, the bus didn’t come so I though I can as well walk to the next bus stop and maybe it’ll come when I get there. But it never came so I walked, but it was nice.When I came home my feet was soo wet! It was only the battery charger!! Isn’t  that great! And the guy didn’t charge me for taking a look at it!  told him that was really kind!

When I had walked to where all the shops are, I went to KICKS and bought a perfume and a shower cream from Calvin Klein. It smells really good. You have to smell it next time you go to a shop where they sell make up and stuff. Then you’ll know what I smell like hahaha! It was soooo expensive lol!

Today I took the new train through the tunnle, and they have tv on the train.. I though that was really cool. So now I can watch the news on my way to school :) First I take the bus and then the train..

Then I recieved something that made me happy.. Look! Gingerbread from Poland! I thought that was cool! Usually this doesn’t happen, but I LOVE to get things in my post box, or inbox. What a surprise! I’m used to that gingerbread (cookies) are crispy and thin, but these were thick and soft/chewy.. that was cool. Than you!

A visit to the museum – some pictures

I had NOTHING to do today so I took the bus to Malmö and went to a couple of museums. At the first museum you could have a look at different fish and animals, the building is an old castle so some parts of the building was restored and looked like they did in the 1700s. Then it was some kind of technical museum and you could walk through a submarine, that was pretty cool haha! I can’t believe that a submarine is so small inside. I walked back through the city and saw a really cute dress! :) I thought that statue was pretty cool too, it looks like the man is flying.. It was freeeezing cold! And the bus was late so I missed the other bus too and had to wait 30 minutes outside, it was 7 degrees below brrr.. I’m so glad I’m home again! haha! It was ages since last time I went to a museum and the most of the visitors were kids, lol! Unfortunately the art section was closed, but I might go there another time, who knows.

My hair doesn’t feel very well, actually it’s falling off! It’s scary! Probably because of too much stress, but I know it will grow back, and hopefully I won’t get bold lol! But I’ll try to eat extra much antioxidants and protein stuff this week, and then think about to eat healthier. I made salmon and quinoa and couscous salad for dinner :). I want to make my hair lighter, but I’m sooo afraid it won’t look good on me.

Today I took a walk in Malmö before the Spanish course started, I didn’t have my camera with me, just my cell phone and that’s why the pictures aren’t that good. I like (as you can see in the second picture from the top) (or you can’t see it..) but the lights in the tree to the left are “falling”. It’s some kind of icicle like lamps, really cool. The colored lights are “christmas gifts”-lights (they look like presents).

It only gets colder, today it was 12 degrees below! it was soo cold! I spent the last days at my mom and dad’s house, and I really thought they had more snow than here, but nope.. It’s ice and snow everywhere! Haha! I lit the first candle today since I wasn’t home Sunday. I bought “Christmas lights” last year, and I wanted to “hang” them on the balcony. First I had to put on rubber boots and walk in the snow on the balcony to dig up the flower box. I hope no one saw me ;). I like that they have hung lights in the trees on the street.. :)

I took some pictures outside my mom and dad’s house. It’s so cold outside, Totte doesn’t want to go outside and my sister’s cat was sleeping in the bathroom, lol! I think it’s cool that you can see all the foot prints from the animal, a moose had walked through the garden, and mice are running on the snow.

I took some pictures today. First look at this dog, I think it’s an Afghan dog. First I thought I saw wrong, but no!! The dog is wearing a scarf?? I had to take a picture, I wonder if it had a sore throat? haha! Then I went to Malmö to meet Susanne, we went shopping..

First I tried on this” dress”. This is something you can buy on H&M, I mean it’s doesn’t look bad, but does it make you look very good.. nahh!

Then I had to try on this lovely fur thing. OMG! That is just something I could wear every day! NOT! haha! I tried it on just for fun, and together with that skirt haha!

Then we went to Zara, and I tried to find something ugly, haha! But actually even though the clothes were really ugly, it doesn’t look so bad,  it’s a “skirt” a la leather hosen, and a jacket.. brown, brow!

Then I found this dress a la school girl, it was fun to try it on. I really liked the shoes.

Then there is a picture of my fellow shopper, who actually bough something :) It was fun, so thank you if you read this..

When I was waiting for the bus I took a picture of the cars. I like when the light looks like that..

 And just in case if you read this, Joanna, yes that’s the shoes I bought in Vegas, haha! They still look new! haha! That’s good quality - when I didn’t ask for it lol!

When I came home I made tomato soup, and a “varm smörgås” – like a toast.

• I only have one room. I live in my bedroom, so I have to say the bed. I think it’s too big.
• My white carpet that I really like.
• A lot of books, currently only the books I really like since the other books are in boxes at my mom and dad’s house.
• A lot of pillows! I love pillows!

4 Things I always have wanted to do (but haven’t done yet).

• Staying out the whole night and coming home at 5 in the morning.
• Found someone I like so much that I can’t breathe!
• Going to a ball, or huge dinner and wear a really nice dress, and look really good.
• Said to someone hoe much I really liked that person. I have a huge problem with this! I don’t think I have said to someone “I love you”. Only to our cat, but that doesn’t count!! at all!! haha!

• Watching Bones season 2. I so love that tv-show/series.

• Here comes the embarrassing part. At least for me! hahaha! I think you know this, but anyway.. I have never had a boyfriend. That is less good. haha!
• I can, I don’t know what you call it hahah!, wiggle? my ears.
• I know some books my mother read for me as a child by heart. Every word! But maybe because they are on rhyme and not longer than 30 pages.

Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date.

Ok, I don’t think I have been to the perfect date yet, or I’m sure I haven’t. If there is a perfect date? I don’t really care much, or I do, but it doesn’t take much to make it perfect.

I don’t like guys who put too much effort in making  date “good”, but neither do I like when it feels like an ordinary thing, something have to be special. I think the most important thing is that it’s planned. If it’s coffee or dinner, it doesn’t matter, but for god’s sake decide where we could go if you ask me out, don’t give me the trouble of chosing a place, absolutely not when I’m hungry and every place is full. Another thing that I don’t like is when someone thinks it’s a date, but doesn’t tell me or give me the hint. And then I think we are just having a cup of coffee, and the other person is not.. and that’s not good for the other person ha ha!

Ok, so the first perfect date is relaxed, we eat something that tastes good – that I like and the other person like. He respects me, we have a “rewarding” conversation, and we are not drunk. It ends when it still feels good, and then we can go home and think about what we think about each other. And hopefully meet again. Don’t text me and say you miss me after 1 hour, it doesn’t work on me. And don’t try to support every opinion I have because that makes me sick. Be yourself (some advice for the guy ha ha!). AND don’t be too close (physically) because I don’t like when people I don’t know are too close. I certainly know what I want. Ha ha ha ha!

And if it was a perfect date, I like the guy, and hopefully he likes me. We had fun, laughed, were serious, shared some values, and felt that we had something in common. I liked something he was wearing. Or he showed that he has great taste through taking me to a good place (something he thinks I like) or chosing something from the menu that sounds tasty (this means that he uses his brain for thinking), wearing something nice, or saying something that proves that he knows something about taste, and just don’t buy whatever clothes he can find. AND he tells me things about himself that are true, not some stuff he made up because he thinks I’m going to like it. Then a hug, and then the date ends.

What I have learned today: some everyday psychology

In school we have to read a huge 1400 pages book about psychology. I’m writing something here because I have to learn, hopefully something can be interesting for you to read. People are just strange, not strange, but we have our ways, I can tell you I have learned that by now ;)

• Wise or not? We often say old and wise, but that doesn’t have to be true. Between the age of 13 and 25 wisdom rises and then stays stable until the age of ~75. Wisdom is the knowledge we have about life, relationships, the strategies we use for making decisions, and how good we are at handling uncertainties. This proves that you can be young and wise! Good for everyone under 75!
• The danger of the self-fulfilling prophecy. The way you act towards others makes them behave in the way you expected them to, . For example if you think someone is angry with you, it’s easy for you to behave in a way that makes the other person act as if he/she really was angry ie. not talking to you etc.  That is scary.
• We tend to interact with people who are physically closer, if you sit in a bar you talk more to the people next to you. In a class room you tend to become friends with the people who sit next to you. The more we are exposed to something the more we like it – it doesn’t matter if it’s a class mate or photograph (but you have to like the things/people in some way from the beginning).
• Birds of a feather flock together. We tend to like people who look/are like ourselves – appearance, values, attitudes etc.
• Opposites do not attract they repel, at least when it comes to people. When people who are dissimilar become a couple their relationship usually don’t last long – we starts to dislike the dissimilarities over time. This is scary, but in some way I can understand that it’s true to some extent. Some people we meet become out best friends, some don’t. We have more in common with best friends than with other people, sometimes you almost know what the other person is thinking – probably because you are so alike that you can predict what you would have done in the same situation.
• A basic factor that influences a relationship is how a couple deals with anger. If you can deal with anger in a good way, your relationship will (according to theories) last longer. I think this is true to some extent too. It’s just sad with couples where one person have to stay quiet and the other one don’t listen to him/her, and then let that be a way of solving a discussion etc.
• We are attracted to people with symmetric faces (how do you know if you have a symmetric face? take a picture of you, taken “from the front”, cut it in 2 and make a copy of one of the sides, reverse it and “glue” it together.. then you can see). This is just a weird idea, I didn’t know about this. I don’t dare to do this either! For commercials they sometimes take many faces and make one face of it, like layers in Photoshop  to get the perfect face that we’ll like and that’ll make us buy make-up or whatever it’s about.
• Guys care about appearance when it comes to chosing a girlfriend, even though it sounds harsh, researches say it’s true. But what someone thinks is good-looking or not is another question. On the other hand, people who care much about their appearance tend to find friends/bf/gf who care as much as they do. For example a person who don’t care at all, usually have a bf/gf who doesn’t care either. Usually! I don’t say that it’s true.
• If you want a boyfriend/girlfriend, it’s not good to play “the game” and try to play hard to get. It doesn’t work. Ok, why do I always do this? I think a man did this research.
• If you are angry it’s not good to “vent” the anger through activities that involves even more anger, because it’ll only get worse. But this is just if you don’t have some kind of over controlled anger = never show anger. Then it can be good to do some sport or in some other way get rid of the anger.
• And to end this, if you are going to perform in the near future this might be interesting to know, or terrifying ;) . If you are very good at what you are doing and you have practiced a lot so the skill is “automatic” you are going to perform better. If you haven’t practiced that much, the chance is bigger that you are going to perform worse than when you rehearsed. This thing is caused by the arousal we feel in these kinds of situations and how the brain handles information.

And did you know that there is something called cognitive dissonance. When we do something or read something that don’t fit to our value norms – what we like or think is good/bad, we can either change our minds, OR try to find external justifications, or find excuses that we are right. Things that contradict creates dissonance and we strive to reduce it. Ie. someone tells you to lie (this is against your values) afterwards you feel bad, but then (automatically) think, oh, someone told me to and then I did something good because I did what someone asked me to do, or you might think: but it was fun, so everything is fine - even though you didn’t think so at all. We change our thought patterns to reduce the dissonance, and that is just how the brain and the thoughts work. It can also be explained like: that you see yourself doing something and then interpret the situation afterwards. I did this – then I must have felt this or that way, and that is why I did it – even though it wasn’t like that at all. Our brain can certainly play a joke on us. We are influenced by people around us, our thoughts about others and even ourselves all the time, and this makes us behave in certain ways.

Day 2 – A photo of something you ate today.

I forgot to take a picture of what I ate today, but I took a couple of pictures yesterday so they’ll do. My favorite snack, that you can buy in a grocery store – drinking yogurt and “knäckebröd” with cream cheese filling.

Ok, just because of this 30 days of blogging thing I’ll tell you what I ate today. For breakfast 2 toasted slices of bread + yogurt and some blue berries and raspberries (I eat a little of everything, otherwise I think it’s boring to eat). Then I had an apple around 11:00. For lunch I had rice, fish fingers and salad. Then I ate yogurt again before I went out running like 5 km or something. For dinner I had omelette with rice, tomatoes, basil and parsley, and ketchup. Then I went to Hemköp because my neighbor is sick so I bought some stuff for her there, and then I bought candy(not good) which I ate while I was reading a book for school, and then I had a cup of coffee so now I’m hyper active, the clock is 21:31. Then I think I ate like 5 digestive crackers, biscuits whatever you call it.. Tomorrow will be a healthier day ha ha!

A couple of years ago I got a pack of tarot cards, and a book. I had a friend who thought it was fun with tarot cards. She just showed me how to do it, and as I have learned - you can’t predict the future, but see what will happen in the future if you do what the cards suggest, or what is going to happen if you don’t stop wat you’re doing etc. = it’s not just destiny, you can shape your future. Anyway, I read a post about tarot cards, and remembered I had mine somewhere, and this is why I think it’s so scary. Ok, it could be a coincidence. I just took the cards and laid them on the floor, according to a spread, read in the book what the cards mean, and this is what the freaking cards say (the book is written in English, and I just made some notes while I was reading):  

Ok, most of this is just oh it’s going to be so good in the future, but gosh! I had a look on the other pages, and nowhere did it say anything about family demands.. hmm.. sometimes it’s hard to know what to believe. Anyway I still think it’s fun ha ha! It’s crazy, if any of you have read my blog during the last weeks, I think you can see some things I have written about in this?

This is me today, I just took a picture and I think I didn’t think much because the expression on my face looks pretty honest to what I feel right now. It’s like I’m not wearing my contacts/glasses Ha ha! Anyway, my day to day wasnt the best, because it’s raining, and it feels like the people here are angry at me because of some reason I don’t know. But I have decided to make some kind of plan, and as Jenny (the blogging Jenny ;) )  has taught me – some things are just mean to be, and I just think I have realized what is good with that I can’t take the course that I wanted to take.. I have found 2 apartments and I e-mailed the people and now I’m just waiting for them to reply. It’s freezing cold in here, so I’m kind of wearing a lot of clothes, ha ha!
